Why are anthropomorphic female animal characters in cartoons, comics, and video games usually drawn with more humanoid body proportions than male ones? For example, Cleo the female cat from Heathcliff and The Catillac Cats is more anthropomorphic than Riff Raff the male cat and many of the female cats in Tom and Jerry, including Toodles Galore, are more anthropomorphic than the male cats, Tom and Butch.
I think it has to do with how cartoonists tend to make females of pretty much every species busty, sometimes even with types of animals that don’t even HAVE breasts.
