Every year, my strange and talented Internet British friend Mark (@NinDB_Fry of NinDB fame) does this thing called Nintober where he draws a Nintendo brand bad guy for all 30 days of October (you can see his 2011 gallery here). It’s like a Halloween video game advent calendar, or something. Anyway, this year I aim to copy him, so for the next month I’m just gonna flood Play American with a bunch of dirty non-American Nintendo baddies. Apologies.
#1 is Stretch, from Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES; February, 1990).
I’m also super excited that J.J. McCullough will be doing 31 entries for Nintober as well over at his Play American game art blog. So cool!
