“A Nightmare On Elm Street have always been my favourite horror series but I only wish the sequels were better. The Idea of Freddy Krueger has so much potential! New Nightmare was badass though.”
The sequels gave Freddy life. He’s just so much more entertaining after seven films of shenanigans.
New Nightmare is indeed badass, but it’s not really Freddy in that movie. It’s a demon using Freddy’s face.
I only saw “New Nightmare” once, but it didn’t really grab me. I like 3, 4, and 6 quite a bit, although I’ll admit that the last one is more of a horror-comedy than straight horror.
