Endpapers, front cover and selected pages from “Dot and Tot of Merryland” by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow. (Bobbs-Merrill edition.) One of L. Frank Baum’s many books about the surrounding countries of Oz.
The most commonly available edition now is probably the Books of Wonder one, which doesn’t have the original illustrations. I think it was difficult and/or expensive to duplicate them, so they commissioned new illustrations from Denslow imitator Donald Abbott.
