Thor Dressed as Freyja by Carl Larsson, for the Poetic Edda - 1893
In my second installment of illustrations-of-Thor-dressed-as-a-woman, we have the same disguise scene depicted. This time, Loki has cross-dressed as well, and seems thrilled with being a bridesmaid as he puts the finishing touches on a sullen Thor.

Thor’s Battle Against the Jotnar, by Marten Eskil Winge
Thursday:
The contemporary name comes from the Old English Þunresdæg, “Thunor’s Day” (with loss of -n-, first in northern dialects, from influence of Old Norse Þorsdagr, meaning “Thor’s Day”). Thunor and Thor are derived from the Proto-Germanic god Thunaraz, god of thunder.
